Fort Myers – Theory Design and its growing team of talented professionals are bringing to life the Bal Harbor model at Hill Tide Estates, a luxury beachfront community in Boca Grande from Seagate Development Group.
Vice President of Design, Ruta Minajalazi, and Senior Interior Designer, Paula Miett, conceptualized the three-story residence according to the rich flavor of the scenic location and the island’s rich history of tarpon fishing as well as deep-water adventures. They have worked with Seagate, architect RG Designs and other key partners to create more than 5,100 square feet of living space with a unique diversity of coastal design with stunning tropical landscapes. The interiors include a holistic approach focused on indoor and outdoor living and entertainment.
Bal Harbor blends a coastal and rustic look, modern, and experienced right from the start, with exterior features like a gray metallic roof, white arches and windows, and black shutters for a classic contrast. Communication with the outside is further improved while walking through the door. The color palette is neutral with touches of navy and natural green tones. This includes the dark blue cabinets in the kitchen and bar as well as the laundry room. A blue denim area rug, plush pillows, and colorful seaside art bring this color scheme to life. These, along with accessories from the surrounding natural elements, are also complemented by comfortable upholstery. These carefully selected finishes give the home timeless touches that celebrate the abundance of natural light.
A massive chandelier in the three-story Bal Harbor entryway is the first of many delicate accent pieces that welcome guests and then reward them with scenic effect. An open staircase provides the illusion that it is floating, especially when it is enhanced by a wide area of sunlit windows across the front and back of the house.
The living spaces are blended with contrasting elements, such as ebony cabinetry for contrast, and complemented by softer tones, such as blue, gray and linen. The textured finish and color palette create the seamless flow of this Bal Harbor model. This home is open plan for entertaining and features a well-equipped kitchen, large room and bar area with sliding pocket doors that expand the living space to the outdoors.
Fresh sheer fabrics, coastal abstract art, cozy white linen furnishings, plus beach-inspired combinations and accents make the home a luxurious and relaxing getaway for all.
‘Bal Harbor can be defined as a friendly luxury. Anyone can connect to this design and easily add to a space like this to make it their own.’ When you walk through the door and explore each space, you’ll say, ‘I want to live here,’ said Chris Hensley, Vice President of Theory Design. “.
The Bal Harbor model includes four bedrooms plus a study, four and a half bathrooms, and a three-car garage.
Theory Design is also creating interior design for the typical homes of Seagate’s Beacon, Cape Romano and Sunny Isles at Hill Tide Estates – some of the last opportunities to own homes in this unrivaled community. Its current portfolio also includes Seagate custom and mod homes at Isola Bella in Talis Park, custom homes at Esplanade Lake Club and upcoming projects in Quail West.
