Analysis Insights has an exclusive interview with Grieg Nagpal CEO and co-founder and co-founder, CTO and co-founder Metroide India.
Kindly inform us about the company, the differences and the services your company provides.
MetroRide is an AI-supported urban mobility solution for “daily commuting”. We connect daily commuters with high frequency centers within 5 mile radius to metro stations, universities and corporate parks. Our focus is on making these trips affordable, on time, and sustainable. Over the past 9 months, we have provided over 150,000 customers and helped them reduce their transportation costs by more than 50% and reduce their waiting time by appx by 80%. The average 2-minute 01 minute waiting time for our lifespan is one of the most important KPIs for each new industry standard and each mobile player.
Mention some of the major challenges the company has faced so far.
Periodically new challenges were part of this exciting journey. There were some obstacles in the way of uneducated drivers getting used to the tech application, to practice their process, or to keep the progress on the ground without having too many people on the ground. We have been using technology to solve many of these issues and as a result we have become a more flexible and exemplary system.
The mother of all problems is the epidemic. We have used this as a blessing by implementing strict CV safety measures in all our vehicles and thus becoming the preferred partner for many passengers. In order to do our part to help the needy, we provided free food to isolated families. We have also developed a B2B model during lockout to generate alternative revenue sources.
What are the key challenges you will face in the EV market? What are the current trends?
Any new technology comes with its problems and Eve is no different. Just like any other new product here, we have creators and early guardians who have jumped on the bandwagon of faith.
Major challenges such as high costs, infrared filing and boundary issues are being prioritized by industry actors and we will see a sea of change in the short term. Central governments are supporting a number of favorable policies and subsidies for the EVA adoption video.
We are very good at the future of EV and it is only a matter of time before we see EVs emerge.
How do you see the company and the industry in the future?
Thanks to the lessons learned during the epidemic, we see an increasing number of people moving to sustainable transportation options as they see how difficult it is to get oxygen to hospitals.
By offering cheap, fast, and sustainable alternatives, we finally see ourselves as a leading brand of mile transportation. We have started using the Metro connection for the first time and will soon start using other issues.
How is your company helping them to embrace the technology innovations and deliver the right business results?
We are a B2C company that provides daily travel. The biggest requirement for our users is an affordable, fast and safe transportation solution. We do this using a variety of technology tools and process innovations. Identify the correct pick-and-drop points, predict demand, and ensure safe trips using ioti and data tools.
Our AI-powered technology stack is a
- Measurable catch- Automatic up and down
- Automated Virtual Interactive Kinetic Intelligence (VIKI)
- Connected to IoT enabled vehicles, ready to drive independently in the future
What is your company’s edge over other players in the industry?
We use technology and use innovation to add value to our customers’ journey.
Pick-up and drop-offs are done on fixed lines at metro stations.
Using continuous 100% EVs, we reduce carbon footprint from first and last mile transportation.
Over the past 9 months, we have served over 1,500,000 customers, helping them reduce transportation costs by more than 50% and reduce waiting times by 80%. The average lifespan of 2 1 is 01 min is the new industry standard in car travel and the most important KPIs that set us apart from each mobile player.
What do you think is the future of artificial intelligence in India?
Artificial Intelligence or AI is a transfer word today and it is already revolutionizing in various fields and is making a big impact. Sometimes artificial intelligence (AI) is the most widely used concept. We believe that AI should not be forced into businesses. Instead, business should be the main nervous system. Now, in our sector, especially in India, AI plays an important role in the efficient recharging of batteries first and in the efficient use of batteries. For example, one of the many uses of metroroids is the use of AI to influence energy.
Deep integration with the battery management system (BMS) allows you to instantly know the health and charge of the batteries and accordingly guide drivers to the right time to replace or recharge the batteries.
Create convenient routes for drivers to use energy efficiently.
How do you see the growth of the industry? How did you grow up, as you said you were here from the beginning?
The EVA sector is still in its infancy, exploring its potential in very specific usage issues or markets. We are still scratching the surface and we are seeing huge growth in electric vehicles in each and every transportation industry. This adoption currently leads B2B markets in two- and three-wheelers. Also, we are seeing a big change in the private sector driven by the 2W market. This adoption is supported by a number of original two-wheeled markers. Much work is being done on infrastructure, both public and private. The next decade is packed with action and we are fortunate to be part of this sustainable development.
