Updated Look at Syracuse Football’s Scholarship Numbers for 2022

With the addition of Dan Villary and a late National Signing Day less than a month away, it’s time to take a fresh look at the status of scholarships at Syracuse for the upcoming season. Syracuse had 13 players in December, and there were three players out of the gate sticking with Orange. Syracuse has also lost 15 players at the gate since September 1.

With all of that in mind, the number of current Syracuse scholarships for the upcoming season is 76 (see list below). That leaves Orange with nine scholarships for the 2022 season. We know Syracuse is hosting an elite rushing pass in defensive end recruit Francois Knowlton for a visit this weekend. Move wide receiver CJ Hayes visiting the weekend of the st. Cornerback Isaiah Johnson’s transition visits the weekend of the 28th. Syracuse is also involved in the final tight transfer of Stephen Stellianos.
