Let me begin by stating unequivocally that the personage, Natasha Akpoti, like every human, is susceptible to the frailties and fallibility inherent in the human nature. Those snoring in their cosy corners today, while these great patriots front a challenging task of a new Kogi State, might be the first victims tomorrow, not moulded into shape by those in control.
Unfortunately, many people are lost to their party, ethnic and religious affiliations, thereby not been able to think clearly; it is absurd to still be in this clause.
Today After The Supreme Court Judgement it’s important to recognize the courage and sacrifice of Natasha Akpoti and to be grateful for it. I think more than any other person in the past four, five years, she has been prepared to pay a price for her people.
A high price with the government that lacks compulsion on this matter, she has been single minded and it’s not unusual for Kogites to show that kind of single mindedness she has shown. So, I really respect her.
“Despite the best effort of the government to nail her, they have not been able to substantiate any charges against her.
We can’t expect a better kogi state if we are not willing to stand up for it, Natasha has showed us that it is possible to fight, it’s now left for us to decide either we want to fight or not, this is not Natasha’s fight but a fight for the future of the state.
Leadership is about connecting to the soul of the people and giving everything sacrificially to lift it up.
Natasha should be confident about the fact that when heroes are remembered she is among them.
Her place in history is undeniable secured and there is absolutely nothing that her traducers can do about it. I equally urge her not to be deterred by the shenanigans of the oppressors. She should remain steadfast and look only to posterity.
I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel and Leadership is not about titles, positions, or flow charts. It is about one life influencing another.
