Ibrahim Abdul also known as Whinny is one of the fastest rising Kogi State, Nigerian music artists and probably one of the youngest too.

Early Life And Education

Ibrahim Abdul AKA Whinny was born on 6th November, , in Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State, Nigeria.

He was born into a polygamous family – his father had three wives, his mother is a Christian and his father a Muslim. Whinny who followed his mother to the church began singing in his local church at the tender age of 11 years. He was not only a good vocalist but also a lead singer.

Ibrahim Abdul Started His Primary School Education from Faith Nusery and Primary School Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State,

He then proceed to Ebira Muslim Community College Okengwe in the year 2006 for his Secondary School Education.

In a quest to further his education Ibrahim Abdul AKA Whinny enrolled for the School of Basic and Remedial Studies Ahmadu Bello University Zaria where he started as a blogger and finish in the year 2017.

Immediately After His Remedial Studies he got Admission From Kogi State University Anyigba to Aquire BSC, he is presently a 300l student of Plant Science and Biotechnology in the Faculty of Natural yscience in Kogi State University Ayingba.

Career

Before his break came in 2017, Whinny released a couple of singles. As part of the church choir,. He later went on to form a singing group with five of his friends, the group was known as “Simple Boyz Nation”.

Before he finally settled for the stage name Whinny, he performed using other names such as “SBN”, as well as “Winnerboy”. While using the name Winnerboy, he was able to record 4 tracks.

Whinny’s break in the music industry came in the year 2017. This is after he successfully collaborating with renowned musician SIRGENTLE. The two artists produced the award-winning track “ENYISI” as produced by Mr.Johnnybeatz which not only went ahead to receive many nominations and awards but also received a lot of airplay In Kogi State as well as Nigeria at large.

In 2018, he released “ODOYEWU”. The song has earned him a lot of fan base across Nigeria and most African countries.

His music career has grown ever since and has had the privilege of working with famous artists Within and Out side his state (Kogi State) and with award-winning producer LBonDbeatz, among others.

Outside his State, he has worked with Endeetone D beat Lord, gentleboy the youngest producer and others, In 2018 Whinny was invited by many notable Radio stations for interview and many shows shutdown within and outside his State

This didn’t stop there, Whinny is still up and doing dropping hits back to back believing strongly that sooner than later he will be brought to limelight.
