Early Life and Education

Lawal Omeiza Mohammed Was Born on 6th july 1968 to the families of Late Mr Lawal Aworo at Ihima in Okehi LGA Of Kogi State.

He Obtained his primary school certificate in 1980 and then proceed to okene secondary school for his West African School Certificate and graduated in 1985.

Lawal Omeiza Obatined His National Diploma (ND) and Higher Diploma (HND) in Mining Engineering from Kwara State Polytechincs in 1989 and 1992.

He Later Proceed to obatain Diploma Certificate in Computer Technology in 2001, he enrolled in and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) and a Master’s Degree (M.Eng.) in Environmental Resource Management from the Nasarawa State University, Keffi in 2011 and 2017 respectively.

The national and internationally aclaimed Mining Engineer also got his Ph.D in the same course from the Nasarawa State University.

He is a memeber of many professional bodies within and outside the country. Some of these are:
Member Nigerian Soceity of Engineers (MNSE).
Member Migerian Mining and Geosciences Soceity (MNMGS).
Cooperate Member, Nigerian Soceity of Mining Engineers (MNSME).

Career

Engineer Mohammed worked with Lime Chemical Ltd, Okpella in Edo State as Head Drilling and Blasting Operations between 1993 and 2001.

Owing to his outstanding performances there he was recruited and worked with Leenford Quarry Ltd, Takushara, Abuja as General Manager between 2001 and 2006.

Engr. Lawal Omeiza Mohammed voluntarily resigned his appointment to set up and become Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of his own successful company- Mufkad Mines and Investment Ltd based in Abuja.

The company has carried out numerous consultancy services for many clients both local and foreign ones including Governments as well as individuals and Corporate Organizations.

Engr. Lawal Omeiza Mohammed has held and still holding political appointments both at state and national levels.

Before His Recent Appointments, He was a Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Kogi State Government on Solid Minerals.
